With free ToDoList 8.0.4 from developer AbstractSpoon Software, you can manage upcoming tasks in a tabular overview and, if you want, set additional details like priorities or estimated time.

Tasks in ToDoList

Flexible task list

ToDoList does not require any installation and can therefore be run directly after unzipping the downloaded ZIP file. When you start the program for the first time, a wizard guides you through setting up the program.

In particular, you determine whether the tool should use the Windows registry to save program settings or write them to an INI file. The latter also allows the software to be used in a portable manner.

You can create new tasks or subtasks at any time in the list, and then specify details such as priority, current progress, estimated time, or due date. A reminder function helps you remember important tasks. A comment function including rich text support is also integrated.

In addition to the tree structure selected by default, ToDoList offers a list and calendar view as well as a representation of the tasks in the form of a histogram and statistics. A sorting function brings, for example, the most important or upcoming tasks to the top of the list and of course this can also be searched for specific terms.

You can also generate lists in various formats such as ICS, CSV or HTML and then process them with other programs, for example. A print function is also available. Lists can also be shared with other local network users.

Task lists for Windows computers

Whether you are planning bigger projects or just want to save small tasks: ToDoList brings more order to everyday life. Although lists can be shared over the network, they are not shared over the Internet or synchronized with mobile devices.

Alternatively, you can manage appointments and tasks with EssentialPIM Freeware, which offers additional functions such as a calendar and an email client.
