The Huawei Watch GT2 Pro has a 1.39 inch circular OLED display with a resolution of 454×454 pixels and a touchscreen. It is in a stainless steel case, which is offered in several colors and combined with plastic or leather straps. With a diameter of a good 46 millimeters, the new Huawei smartwatch is more suitable for wide wrists.
Technically, the Watch GT2 Pro is basically the same as the regular Huawei Watch GT2, as it also offers 32 megabytes of RAM, four gigabytes of flash memory, GPS support, and water resistance up to 50 meters. With a 455 mAh battery and Huawei’s proprietary operating system, the new watch is expected to achieve 14 days of battery life.

If the battery needs to be charged, this can also be done wirelessly with the Huawei Watch GT2 Pro, which is definitely an innovation in the product line. Apart from this, the Watch GT2 Pro also offers various fitness functions made possible by gyroscopes and other sensors.
This of course includes counting steps and levels, recording heart rate and heart rate zones, evaluating the duration and quality of sleep, determining stress level and recording the oxygen content of the blood. With various sports modes, you can also save data while running, swimming, cycling, hiking, golfing, skiing, fitness, gymnastics or even tennis.
The connection to the respective host smartphone is established via Bluetooth 5.1 and it is possible to use the Huawei Watch GT2 Pro as a music player if you connect a wireless headset to it and use the internal memory. The new Huawei smartwatch is also expected to hit the German market in the coming weeks and will then cost around 280 euros.
