  1. Press both Windows+R keys on the keyboard at the same time. It will open run box type ncpa.cpl and press enter.
  2. It will open the network connections window; there will be two options Ethernet and WiFi.
  3. Now, right-click on WiFi to open the WiFi properties.
  4. Click the configure button; it opens properties, now click on the power management tab. 
  5. Finally, Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is unchecked and click on OK. Hopefully, this will fix the WiFi dropping issue. 

Google DNS

WiFi can be unstable if your DNS is nor properly configured. There are many times when users switched to Google’s DNS; their issues related to WiFi dropping are resolved so that you can give it a try.

  1. In the first step, press Windows+R and type ncpa.cpl  and press enter.
  2. Now, with the mouse Right-click on your WiFi adapter and choose Properties.
  3. Now tap on internet protocol version 4(TCP/IPv4)and click open the properties.
  4. Use the following server addresses, set the Preferred DNS server to 8.8.8.8, and Alternate DNS server to 8.8.4.4.
  5. Now click on OK to save.

Switching Network From Public To Private

  1. Press Windows+R and open the run window.
  2. Write ms-settings:network-wifi and press enter.
  3. Choose the Private network  as your network
